A Word from our Principal

We seek to partner with you to train a generation for the glory of God through Christian education. Comprehensive communication between parents and the school is essential for every family.

What can Lighthouse Baptist School do for you?  If you are in search of an educational option that allows time to be given back to the family in the area of educational and biblical development, then LBS is for you!

Our students are divided into an upper and lower campus, with lower campus students (K-5th) attending classes on either Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, or Tuesdays and Fridays.  Upper campus students (6th-12th) attend classes on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. On the off days, students are at home with you working on teacher-assigned work.

Core Beliefs

The creation and continued operation of Lighthouse Baptist School is to assist Christian parents in fulfilling their responsibility before God to “bring up [their children] in the nurture and admonition of the Lord” (Ephesians 6:4). Lighthouse Baptist School shall endeavor to train young people spiritually and practically for a life of service and dedication to the Lord and materially provide for their families.

All instruction and activities provided by Lighthouse Baptist School shall be in accordance with and in obedience to God’s principals as revealed in his Holy Word. Instruction in scholastics, Scripture, Christian character and service are necessary to produce well-rounded, productive citizens and Christians. All operations of Lighthouse Baptist School are decidedly Christian in nature and content and Baptist in doctrine and practice.

Our Facility

LBS is proudly located in a historic downtown building—a modest structure with a powerful purpose. While the space may be small, it serves as the heart of our mission to build strong, independent individuals who contribute meaningfully to their communities and shape a brighter future for America.

Our Educational Center supports students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Each grade has a dedicated instructional area designed to accommodate both classroom-based and individualized learning.

The facility also includes an area for physical education, games, and other recreational activities. Music and Performing Arts classes are conducted in the sanctuary, offering a unique and inspiring setting for creative expression.
